We are really happy to be associated with TCEF and its sponsorship program. TCEF's work is critical to help young Tibetans in exile maintain their culture and traditions by providing them with a strong educational foundation. We began sponsoring Tenzin in 2002 and in 2006, started sponsoring her brother as well.
Karma and the staff of TCEF do such a great job keeping us in touch with our sponsored children and it has been a real joy to watch them (through the pictures and letters they send twice a year) grow into such articulate, conscious, fine young people. We look forward to taking our son Graham to meet his Tibetan brother and sister in India someday soon!

There are so many opportunities to donate to a
charitable cause, and I'm so happy with my choice to
sponsor a child through TCEF. Just over a dollar a
day goes so far to meet all of "my" child's needs.
I'm one of the lucky few who has actually been to
Kyitseling and seen the children and the hostel.
During my visit, I started sponsoring Phuntsok when he
was just starting school (he's now already in the 8th
grade!). I'll never forget my meeting with him and
his mother and how they could show such respect and
deep appreciation for my sponsorship - all without
speaking the same language. He's regularly sent
letters and pictures to let me know how he's doing,
his interests, and expresses sincere gratitude for my
sponsorship. I really have enjoyed seeing his writing
and English improve over the years, and know that I'm
helping him receive an education and life he might not
otherwise experience."

For the past 7 years I have been sponsoring a Tibetan child through
TCEF. It has been very fulfilling for both of us. For Ludoe, who
comes from a very sweet family with little funds, it has meant a
chance to get a good education through Tibetan, English and Hindi
along with his Tibetan piers in exile. He is doing well in school,
having fun, doing sports and also has become a great artist. This is
a chance every kid deserves.
For me, I can't even begin to express how wonderful it is. Every time I get one of his letters, it makes me happy that I can help someone else in a way that will really change his future. When I go to visit him in Clement Town—a Tibetan colony in India—his family treats me with a kindness that I could never imagine. Despite the language barrier, they are so warm, friendly and also grateful. This just fills my heart up. I almost feel guilty because to me it is not very much money, like a cappuccino a day, and to them it is the future of their son.
